G Pia Fleming’s WIFW A/W 2010 collection defines the new chic and the evening classics look. The show began with a dramatic dance performance as the collection was inspired by the Italian opera and retro Hollywood glamour. The collection exudes a calm sense of assured sexuality of the modern woman. She used the finest fabrics and the most discriminating hand beading and embellishments.

The colour story was based on winter whites, typical black, silver grey and beige. The garments were detailed using rich hues of emerald, pea green, blue and tanzanite. The fabrics like washed velvets, chamois, organza, tulle, textured satin, lace were used with trims of fur and leather. Fine quilting was the dominant feature in the jackets with surface embellishments of sequence. Wider necklines were emphasised by the use of fur and wool felt. Fitted silhouettes, flirty cocktail dresses and understated goddess gowns studded the ramp which was teamed up with jackets, boleros and capes. The jean jacket and leather bomber with embellishment have found a new identity in her collection this season, as a perfect accessory.

The brand ambassador of Fiama Di Wills Deepika Padukone dazzled the ramp by being the show stopper.  She wore a white satin flowy gown which was teamed up with a thigh length wool felted overcoat.
