Lecoanet Hemant showcased their collection named ‘Green’ with the ramp floor coloured like green foliage, creating the eco mood. The collection stays true to its eco-friendly values and conveys a sense of ‘natural chic’. There is an earthy feel to the collection with the use of nature-inspired fabrics and designs. The theme is all about making the world a greener place by spreading awareness with each individual making an effort to stop the globe from turning grey and dry.

Khadi, organic cotton poplin, chiffon, leather, satin, linen, denim, handloom silk were used to enhance the ‘green’ theme with drapes and flowing necklines. Some ensembles gave an impression of water flowing over an earthy surface. Lazer cutouts mimicked bamboo, frangipani leaves and camouflage embroidery added to the natural feel. Their colour palette had a huge variety, ranging from bright shades of shocking red, black to the muted tones of crème, beige, ivory, rust and moss green. Traces of acid wash were visible in almost blackish blue/off white colours on jackets and pencil fit jeans with coloured thread stitch detailing.

Silhouettes showcased both men and women wearing semi casual trousers with tapering hemlines, mao jackets worn carelessly with sleeves rolled up,  linen shirts, matching shoes, leather handbags, three fourths, faille shorts, traffic hem shirts with extended plackets and snap buttons, extended waistband trousers, asymmetrical skirts, textured jackets, box bolero to name a few.

The show stopper walked the ramp, wearing a black solid off shoulder long flowy dress with a black and white net long stole clutched to her bosom and spreading the message of ‘green’ loud and clear.
