This Debarun WIFW A/W 2010 took his inspiration from the greatest legend of the timeless tale of love between great cloud and the silver lining. Tearing across the eternal division between darkness and light, their tale was brought forth in his collection with an exuberant interplay of black, grey and silver colour.

In his collection, he had intermingled different silhouettes from diametrically opposite sensibilities like Japanese kimono sleeves to Indian choli blouses to European mid length dresses.

Overall the collection was a mix of short dress, long dress, saree with choli blouse, lehanga choli, coat, flapped skirt and jacket with embroidery. Although it was all women’s wear collection but there was one men’s wear in silver colour Chinese collared coat with black trouser to give a complete look to entire collection .

The main highlight in this collection was lots of surface embellishment using sequin work and intricate thread work which was beautifully placed over the garments to give the right appeal and look. The collection remains true to the legend.
